I have a standard classroom talk that includes what an author does, elements of a story, and a group story creation activity for students. Presentations will be catered to your needs and interactive sessions can incorporate any/all of the following:

• the writing and publishing process
• developing characters, plot, and tension in fiction
• researching/utilizing historical elements in fiction
• elements of a fictional retelling and/or origin story
• Question/Answer Session

The Becky Thatcher Curriculum Guide works with The Actual & Truthful Adventures of Becky Thatcher as a standalone book and as a complement to Mark Twain's classics The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
